What is the Internet of Things and how can it improve the health sector?

Pat Wheaton is the founder of Core Connect Group, an advisory firm specialising in a broad range of strategic and operational services to the healthcare sector. The IoTAA is the peak industry body representing Internet of Things (IoT) in Australia. It has over five hundred participating organisations and one thousand individual participants working across twelve workstreams.

Today on the show Pete and his guests, Pat and Antony explore the IoT and how it has progressed over time and revolutionised a number of industries across Australia and the world. They also discuss the opportunities ahead of us in healthcare and IoT.

This episode covers the possible application of IoT in healthcare, as well as shares some interesting examples of IoT successes in other industries. You can also learn the barriers of IoT’s application to healthcare and how you can become a part of the IoTAA team.
